Creemore, Ontario, is a small farm community that is undergoing transformation into a bedroom community to Barrie and a country casual and specialty shopping burg. It is next door to the Niagara Escarpment. About 20 miles south of Wasaga Beach.

One shop my sister and I particularly enjoyed visiting was Marci Lipman Country - telephone (705) 466-6644.

Other stores we visited and enjoyed: Mad River Pottery, Creemore Springs Brewery, the Creemore Clock and Watch Company, and the Sovereign Restaurant.

The Saturday we visited there was a small but interesting farmers' market. There was a group visiting town, a group of old car enthusiasts out on a Saturday romp.

Creemore is well worth a visit.
