This fellow for several days in August decided that the old sneakers I wear to go swimming in Georgian Bay (rocky not sandy where I am) was the perfect overnight accomodation

I guess about 7 times I found him inside one of my sneakers.

The great unsolved mystery is how he got to them. They get left outside the side door on the side porch. He either hopped up four stairs or came the long way round and up the old wheel chair ramp.

With the colder nights now since Labour Day, I suspect he has gone to ground and is getting ready for winter.

My biggest worry when dumping it out on the grass in front of the cottage was to ensure Diamond and Shakespeare did not notice him and decide he was a toy.
