On June 21st, 2003 a dedication ceremony was held for Midland's new Peace Garden.
Some remarks were given by Elizabeth O'Connor (Peace Works), Midland Mayor George MacDonald, representatives of M.P. Paul De Villier's and M.P.P. Garfield Dunlop, Nina Pruesse (Green Party).

About 100 people were in attendance. The Peace Garden is located at the waterfront park in downtown Midland, Ontario, not far from the waterfall.
