bluetyger is an online magazine with articles on literature, writing, work, art, travel, technology, photography, and a host of other topics. This is a work in progress. This being both explanation and excuse. Mostly I like to write. I also like to take photographs. Interesting things to me, I want to share. So I have this general notion and direction and I am going to move forward with it.

Why "bluetyger"? Blue is my favourite colour. "Tyger" is my favourite animal and Mr. William Blake spelled it that way some years back.

Waterfest 2001 Art Exhibit takes place on August 3-5 next to the town dock in Midland, Ontario. I will be exhibiting photographic images for sale. Final preparations are keeping me in full jig mode.
It is a curious thing that Ontario's air has become more and more polluted. There is not a great deal of consolation in the fact that this makes for more colours in the sunrise and sunset photographs. I recall a news story last year that reported that Ontario had the dirtiest gasoline in North America. If the oil companies and the refining operations are so profitable, perhaps some of that might go to improving refinery quality. I must confess I have been thinking of a new vehicle and the advertising onslaught for a LARGE vehicle has been taking up residence in my brain. Perhaps a super Sparrow. with a trailer for the two dogs. Tail wagging alone should give me some forward energy.
