Victoria Harbour, OntarioGovernment Dock: Photosbluetyger presents selected digital photo images taken in mid December 2001, using a Canon Powershot G1 digital camera. Victoria Harbour, Ontario was an important logging industry town around 1900 - 1920. Many of the houses in the town are "company housing for workers" that have had additions made. The original "company store" building is still standing at the main crossroads. One part of the tourism economy of the town that has grown steadily over the years is boating/fishing. The marina shown in the photos started small and has grown over the years. The water shown is Georgian Bay. Photos were taken during unusually mild weather.
